4. The distance required between the barcode and Mesa
2 varies depending on the barcode being read. There
is a red aiming LED that helps you aim at the correct
barcode. Press the scan button. When the barcode is
successfully scanned, the barcode information is placed
in your document.
Troubleshooting the Barcode Scanner
If the barcode scanner is not functioning correctly, you can
use these steps to set the scanner to factory default settings.
1. Launch Barcode Connector.
2. Scan the Set Factory Default barcode, shown here.
3. Use the Reset Settings button on the User page of
the Barcode Connector to restore the settings of the
Barcode Connector program.
4. Close the Barcode Connector program.
5. Launch Barcode Connector and verify correct
functionality has been restored.
