Prex, Sufx 1, and Sufx 2 combo boxes: Allow you to
pick from one of the following:
none
NULL
Line Feed
Carriage Return
#
$
Tab
Date
Time
If set to something besides “none,” these are prexed or
sufxed to the data that is scanned. For example, if you
have Prex set to ‘#,’ Sufx 1 set to ‘none,’ and Sufx 2 set
to ‘$’, and the tag you scan is “123,” the keyboard wedge
will output “#123$” as if typed from a keyboard.
Scan Time: determines the maximum time to attempt
to scan for before giving up. When the scan button is
pushed, the RFID scans until it nds a tag, or until this
amount of time has elapsed.
Power Level: Sets the power level of the module. The
maximum power level is determined by what region the
RFID is congured for. For America, it is 20 dBm, for the EU
and Australia, it is 24 dBm. You may specify higher power
levels, up to 27 dBm, but the radio may have to remain
off for a period of time between scans.
Worst Case Off Time: If the power is set higher than
the regulatory threshold (20 or 24 dBm), this shows the
maximum amount of time that the radio will remain off
before it will allow another scan.
Select Scan Button: Allows you to select from P1, P2, or
P3 as the RFID scan button. While the RFID application
is running, these overwrite what is specied in the
Keypad Control Panel. If the RFID Connector has P1 set
as the scan button, the Keypad Control Panel will show
P1 as blank. This should not be changed from within
the Keypad Control Panel while the RFID Connector
