Medical Device Warnings and Precautions
There are no user serviceable parts in the Juvent 1000 Dynamic
Motion Therapy Platform. If problems arise, see troubleshooting section.
If the Juvent 1000 fails to work, refer to the troubleshooting guide on
pages 24 and 25. If the medical device still fails to work, contact your
local Juvent distributor.
Do not attempt to repair the device.
The Juvent 1000 is an electromagnetic device which could
interfere with or be interfered with by other electromagnetic devices.
If interference occurs or the Juvent 1000 interferes with other
devices, relocate the medical device.
To completely isolate the Juvent 1000 from power, unplug the
medical device from the wall receptacle. The power cord on the
external power supply is regarded as the disconnect source.
To prevent damage to the Juvent 1000, unplug the device
during lightning storms.
Unplug the medical device when unused for long periods of time.
Cleaning instructions: Disconnect the device from the outlet
and clean with a soft cloth dampened with water. A mild soap can be
used if necessary.
Be careful not to drop the device.
Do not place the medical device in water or operate in a wet
environment, i.e., a shower stall, etc.
Do not let objects or liquids enter the device.
Keep the medical device away from radiators and any heat sources.
Do not drop any objects onto the device.
Do not jump on the device.
Only use the supplied, approved medical grade Juvent power adapter.
