A 24Vdc 1.5A supply can be used in place of the 16Vac. The correct connection is +24V to the right AC pin,
GND to the left AC pin. Due to the stored energy in a 24Vdc plug-pack, an AC Fail could occur 5 minutes
before the Energizer reports this fault
