Using
the
Timers
Setting
the
SLEEP
Timer
(Using
the
Remote
Control)
Use
the
Sleep
Timer
to
tum
the
System
off
after
a
cenain
number
of
minutes
when
it
is
playing.
By
setting
the
Sleep
‘Timer.
you
can
falt
asleep
to
music
and
know
that
your
Sys-
tem
will
cum
off
by
itself
rather
than
play
all
night.

can
only
set
the
Sleep
Timer
when
the
System
is
on
and
a
source
is
playing.

Play
a
CD
or
tune
in
to
the
desired
sta-
tion.

Press
the
SLEEP
button
on
the
Remote
Control.
‘The
“SLEEP”
indicator
lights
up.
When
the
clock
is
not
set,
“CLOCK”
and
“ADJUST”
appear
altemately
on
the
display.
Set
the
clock
at
first

the
length
of
time
you
want
the
source
to
play
before
shutting
off.

Rach

you
press
the
SLEEP
button,
it
changes
the
number
of
minutes
shown
on
the
display
in
this

Confirm
the
Sleep
Time:
When
the
SLEEP
button

pressed,
the

To
Cancel
the
SLEEP
Timer
Setting:
Press
the
SLEEP
button
until
the
“SLEEP”
indicator
goes
out
on
the
display.
‘Tuming
off
the
System
also
cancels
the
SLEEP
Timer.
Ifyou
are
setting
the
Daily
Timer,
the
System
will
be
lurned
on
at
the
set
time
to
wake
you
up.
