# REMOVING THE SWITCHING REGULATOR
1. The switching regulator can be removed by first re-
moving screw (a) and the connector shown in Fig. 5.

If only replacing the pickup tube, do not remove the j Screw (a;
preamplifier.
Remove the two screws (a) shown in Fig. 8-1.
2. As shown in Fig, 8-2, remove screw (b) and pull the
DEF board in the direction of the arrow (A).
After removing the tube socket, gently pull the DEF
yoke in the direction of the arrow ®.
NOTE: Avoid pulling forcefully on the preamplifier
and hold the DEF yoke section.
3. Remove the LPF & BIAS light shown in Fig. 8-2.
4, Remove the DEF yoke by removing the connector
and soldered points shown in Fig. 8-3.
5. Loosen the screw © shown in Fig. 8-4, press the
lock shown in Fig. 8-5 in the direction of the arrow
i and pull out the pickup tube in the direction of the

1. The mother board can be removed by removing i
screws and ® shown in Fig. 6. If necessary
remove connectors, etc.

1, Remove the connector as shown in Fig. 7-1 and pull
out the two screws 3
2. Remove the one piece of solder and disassemble the
shield case. (Fig. 7-1}
3. Remove the solder at the two points shown in Fig.
7-2 and pull out the preamplifier BOARD.
NOTE: Be careful that you don’t damage the target pin
after
removing
the
preamplifier.
