HOW TO USE THE STEREO/MONO SWITCH
With a stereo mike, set STEREO/MONO switch @ to the
STEREO position when the VTR is capable of stereo
recording, and set it to the MONO position when the VTR
is monaural.
Notes:
© Provided mike @ is stereo.
®@ With a mono mike, it is onty possible to make monaural
recordings.
Position S: Set switch @ to this position when the VTR
is capabie of stereo recording. Stereo sound
can be recorded by keeping the VTR in the
STEREO recording mode.
(The switch should be set to this position
when using the provided stereo microphone.)
Position M: When the VTR is mono, set STEREO/MONO
switch @ to this position.
(The switch should be set to this position
when using a monaural microphone.)
[4] HOW TO USE THE POLARITY SWITCH
Set POLARITY switch @ to the other position when the
VTR start indicator ® operates with the opposite polarity.
(See page 13E for more information on the VTR start indi-
cator @).
@® Remove the polarity switch cover.
@ Set POLARITY. switch @ to the other position.
Upper position : The camera is delivered with the switch in
this “preset” position.
Lower position : Opposite polarity.
