To connect the AM loop antenna cords
• Connect black cord to the 747terminal, and the while coM to
the other terminal.

• If the AM loop antenna wire o1"speaker cords are covered with
viuyl, remove the vinyl to expose the tip of the antenna by
twisting the vinyh
• Make sure the antenna conductors do not touch any other
terminals, connecting cords aud power cord. Also, keep the
antennas away from metallic parts of the System, counectiug
cords, aud tbe AC power cord. This could cause poor
coudition.
For better FM/AM reception
Outdoor FM antenna
(not supplied)
Vinyl-covered wire (not supplied)
When reception is poor, connect a single
vinyl-covered wire to the AM EXT terminal
and extend it horizontally.
AM loop antenna
Keep it connected.
Disconnect the supplied FM antenna, and
connect to an outdoor FM antenna using a 75 f_
wire with coaxial type connector.
To connectthe speakercords
• The supplied speakers do not conform to maguetically
shielded desigu. Place the speakers enough distance fi'om
a TV so tbat they do not cause color irregularity on the TV.
• When connecting the speaker cords, match tbeir polarity
with that of tbe speaker terminals: red/blue to (+) and black
to _).
• Use only speakers with the same speaker impedance as
iudicated by the speaker terminals on the rear of the unit.

To connectother equipment
By using a stereo mini plug cord (net supplied), you can connect
equipment with analog audio output jacks such as an MD
player, a TV, etc.

If the audio output on the other equipment is not stereo
mini plug type, use a plug adapter to couvert the stm_o mini
plug to the correspouding plug of the audio output.
