If it's a CD-R/CD-RW, ensure that it is finalized. The disc might also be locked; in that case, unlock it. In some cases, the CD player may have malfunctioned, try holding the standby/on attenuator button and pressing the 0 (eject) button for more than 2 seconds. Stop playback while driving on rough roads. Also, a scratched disc may cause ejection, so try a different disc. Finally, verify that all connections are correct and that a disc is actually in the loading slot.
