Function Description

The JVC KD-AV41BT and KD-AV31 are monitor with DVD receivers designed for in-car entertainment. They offer a range of audio and video playback options, including DVD, CD, USB, and iPod/iPhone connectivity (KD-AV41BT only). The units also feature a tuner for radio reception and Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling and audio streaming (KD-AV41BT only). Usage Features

Initial Setup: Includes clock adjustment, either manually or by synchronizing with FM RBDS (if [RDS Clock Sync] is activated).
Source Selection: Users can select various sources such as Tuner, iPod/iPhone (KD-AV41BT), Disc, USB, AUX, and BT Audio (KD-AV41BT) via the MENU button or SOURCE button.
Tuner Functions: Automatic and manual station search, storing preset stations, local seek, and RDS clock synchronization.
iPod/iPhone Playback (KD-AV41BT only): Play/pause, track selection, reverse/fast-forward, and browsing by playlists, artists, albums, genres, songs, composers, audiobooks, and podcasts. Supports repeat and random playback modes.
Disc/USB Playback: Play/pause, track/file selection, reverse/fast-forward, and browsing from a list. Supports repeat (all, one, folder) and random playback modes.
DVD/VCD/MPEG1/MPEG2/JPEG Playback: Play/pause, chapter/track/file selection, reverse/fast-forward, and selection from disc menu/list. Features include displaying playback information, selecting audio/subtitle language, view angle, and picture zoom.

Maintenance Features

Unit Cleaning: Wipe off dirt on the faceplate with a dry silicon or soft cloth.
Connector Cleaning: Detach the faceplate and clean the connector gently with a cotton swab, taking care not to damage it.
Disc Handling: Avoid touching the recording surface, sticking tape, or using accessories on the disc. Clean from the center outwards with a dry silicon or soft cloth. Remove burrs from the center hole and disc edge before inserting.
