To select a track from Search Mode
1 Enter Search Mode menu.
2 Select a menu item.
• Selecting Shuffle Songs starts playback.
3 Select a search mode category, then the desired
track.
Search modes category:
For Music:
“Playlists,” “Artists,” “Albums,” “Songs,” “Podcasts,”
“Genres,” “Composers,” or “Audiobooks”
For Videos:
“Video Playlists,” “Movies,” “Music Videos,”
“TV Shows,” or “Video Podcasts”
• Available Search Modes depend on the type of your
iPod.
• To return to the previous search mode screen,
press MENU.
• To return to the control screen, press RETURN.

To select a playback mode/change the speed
of the Audiobooks
1 While control screen is displayed...
Playback mode selection screen appears on the
category list section of the control screen.
2 Select an item.
3 Select a playback mode/speed.
REPEAT:
RANDOM:
AUDIO BOOK:
REPEAT ONE Same as “Repeat One.”
REPEAT ALL Same as “Repeat All.”
RANDOM
ALBUMS*
Same as “Shuffle Albums.”
RANDOM
SONGS:
Same as “Shuffle Songs.”
NORMAL Plays at normal speed.
FASTER Plays faster.
SLOWER Plays slower.
* Functions only if you select “All Albums” or “All” in
“Albums” of the main “MENU.”
