  If you can't hear any sound from the speakers of your JVC Car Receiver, here's what you can check: * Ensure that the volume isn't set too low; adjust it to a suitable level. * Verify that all connections are correctly and firmly in place. * If the unit has malfunctioned due to external noise, reset it by holding the SEL button and pressing the Standby/On Attenuator button for more than 2 seconds. Note that this will erase clock settings and preset stations.

Be careful when the CD ejects. * Avoid playback on rough roads. * Try a different CD to rule out scratches. * Check the cords and connections to ensure they are correct. * Ensure a CD is actually in the loading slot. * Ensure the CD is inserted correctly.
