  If you can't hear any sound from the speakers of your JVC Car Receiver, here's what you can check: * Ensure that the volume isn't set too low; adjust it to a suitable level. * Verify that all connections are correctly and firmly in place. * If the unit has malfunctioned due to external noise, reset it by holding the SEL button and pressing the Standby/On Attenuator button for more than 2 seconds. Note that this will erase clock settings and preset stations.

  If your JVC Car Receiver is automatically ejecting CDs, consider the following: * Make sure the CD is inserted correctly, with the label side up. * If using a CD-R/CD-RW, ensure it has been finalized. If not, finalize it with the device used for recording, or use a finalized disc. * Check if the CD is locked and unlock it. * The CD player may have malfunctioned; while holding the Standby/On Attenuator button, press the Eject button for more than 2 seconds. Be careful when the CD ejects. * Avoid playback on rough roads. * Try a different CD to rule out scratches. * Check the cords and connections to ensure they are correct. * Ensure a CD is actually in the loading slot. * Ensure the CD is inserted correctly.
