Press the "Large cup" button (without
a capsule). The button will blink during
the process, and all the button sym-
bols will illuminate when it is complete.
Repeat this process as often as is required
until clear water runs out continuously.

Empty the collecting container.
WARNING Very hot water –

Information on using bottled
fresh water:
If you prefer to prepare your coffee
using non-carbonated bottled water,
please note: depending on its origin,
this is not necessarily softer than drin-
king water from the tap. Your applian-
ce can become calcifi ed just as quickly.
Check the water's degree of hardness
with special pH indicator strips and
adjust the water hardness correspon-
dingly on the appliance (see p. 15).
Please do not use carbonated mineral
water under any circumstances.
