Fill the water tank with the descaling
agent at the prescribed mixing ratio (1:4)
and insert it into the appliance. Place a
sufficiently large collecting container un-
der the spout on the base plate.

With the appliance in OFF mode, press
the rinsing button and the ON/OFF button
simultaneously to activate the descaling
programme. Now press the rinsing button
once. The descaling process starts auto-
matically until the water tank is empty.
The rinsing button will blink slowly when
the process is complete.

Once the descaling process is com-
plete, the water tank and the collecting
container must be emptied, rinsed out
thoroughly and cleaned.
