Once the lights start flashing red and green, you have _1000_ openings before the batteries go
completely dead. Have guests notify your agent if they see the lights flashing. Housekeeping and
maintenance should know how to change the batteries.
3 AA batteries need to be replaced. The access is easy but you must work quickly. The Battery Pack
is accessed by taking out a screw on the bottom of the lock – the verticle battery pack will drop out.
Change the batteries quickly (you have about 1.5 minutes – more than enough time if you have
batteries on hand and ready to go (remove new from packaging before you begin)
If you take too long, all programming will be lost and a call to the locksmith (Access Hardware) will
be needed. If programming is lost – that means the codes you have entered and given to guests
who have not yet arrived will need to be changed as well. Be careful
