About the Kanger Subox Mini Kit
The Kangertech Subox Mini is an electronic vaporizer that uses a power source to energize a
heating element, which heats a liquid into vapor. Vaporizers are used to help aid the cessation of
cigarette tobacco. Vaporizer liquid contains nicotine and is not suitable for minors.
Box Contents
The vaporizer has 5 main parts: The box mod, variable wattage controls, airflow vent,
Clearomizer tank, atomizer coil assembly, and the USB charging cable. (Figure 1)

Description of Parts and Their Functions
Box Mod: (Figure 1, 2) A box mod is any power and control device that controls a vaporizer.
The box mod is a 3” x 2” x 0.75” ceramic coated aluminum box that houses the battery and
controls, and distributes energy to the atomizer. The mod uses an 18650 rechargeable battery that
is not included. Batteries can be charged externally or internally with the USB charging port.
Atomizer Coil Assembly: (Figure 1, 3) An atomizer is any coil and wick assembly that is used
to produce a vapor. Coils are wire coils that create heat when energy is applied. Each coil has a
specific resistance value based on the size and thickness of the coil. The resistance of the coil
determines the amount of power used to heat the element. The atomizer coil assembly is a
proprietary design. The unit is disposable after 30 days of use. It is not recommended to use
anything other than approved Kangertech parts. The atomizer is a 0.5” x 0.5” x 0.5” stainless
steel cube that contains an organic cotton wick and kanthol wire coil heating element. The
atomizer is screwed into the base of the Clearomizer which has an insulated contact. The contact
protrudes from the base of the Clearomizer and is threaded to screw into the contact in the Box
mod, completing the electrical circuit. Liquid in the clearomizer seeps into the atomizer when
