What to do if my Kärcher K 5000 G Pressure Washer output pressure varies?
- SStephanie RobinsonJul 30, 2025
If the output pressure of your Kärcher Pressure Washer varies, it could be due to several factors. Ensure you have enough inlet water supply by turning the water on full force and checking the garden hose for kinks, leaks, or blockages. The pump might be sucking air; check that hoses and fittings are airtight and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle. Also, the water inlet filter might be clogged, so remove the filter and rinse it out in warm water. The discharge nozzle could be obstructed; blow out or remove debris with a fine needle. Finally, the gun, hose, or spray wand might be calcified; run distilled vinegar through the detergent suction tube.
