What to do if my Keeper KX9.5 Winches motor will not operate?

  If the motor of your Keeper Winches is not working, ensure all wiring is tight and clean, and check for poor connections. Also, verify that the switch wires are properly connected to the solenoid. If problems persist, the circuit breaker or solenoid might need replacement. You may also need to replace or repair some components.

Why does my Keeper KX9.5 motor run but with insufficient power?

  If your Keeper Winches motor runs with insufficient power, the possible causes include a weak or low battery (recharge or replace the battery and check the charging system), a battery-to-winch wire that is too long (use only supplied wires, or drop down wire size to 2 or 3 AWG if an increase in length is needed), poor battery connections (check battery terminals for corrosion and clean as required), a poor ground (check and clean connections), or a damaged motor (replace or repair).
