If your Kenmore Grill isn't lighting, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the ignition wire is securely connected to the electrical igniter. If the distance between the ignition pin and burner is too great, adjust it. A broken ignition wire necessitates a replacement from customer service. Check the battery; install a new AA battery or correct its polarity if it's incorrectly installed. Also, make sure the electrode is properly installed and producing sparks at the burner port. Confirm that the regulator valve is on and supplying gas. Lastly, if the air shutter opening is too large, reduce its size.
