Its primary function is to wash textiles labeled "washing machine washable" using various pre-set programs. The machine operates with cold water only and features a control panel for selecting wash programs, adjusting settings, and monitoring the wash cycle.
Usage Features
The washing machine offers a range of features to facilitate efficient and effective laundry care:
- Programme Dial: A central dial allows users to select different wash programs based on their laundry requirements. Programs include "Baby Care," "Sports," "Synthetic," "Mixed," "Delicate," "Wool," "Drain Only," "Spin Only," "Cotton Intensive," "Cotton 60°," "Cotton 40°," "Cotton 20°," "Express 15'," "Eco," and "Rinse & Spin."
- LED Display: The display shows important information such as delay time, remaining wash time, and indicators for child lock and door lock status.
- Power Button: Used to turn the machine on or off.
- Delay Button: Allows users to delay the start of a wash cycle by selecting a desired time.
- Spin Speed Button: Enables selection of the desired spin speed for the chosen wash program. This button can also be pressed and held for 3 seconds to set a "Favourite" wash program.
- Temperature Button: Used to select the desired water temperature for the wash program. If no temperature indicator is lit, the water temperature is cold. This button also controls muting and unmuting the machine's sound by pressing it for 3 seconds after starting a wash program.
- Start/Pause Button: Initiates the wash cycle or pauses it during operation.
- Detergent Compartment: Located on the top left of the machine, this compartment is where detergent and softener are added. It has separate sections for pre-wash detergent (I), main wash detergent (II), and softener.
- Loading Capacity: The machine has an 8KG washing capacity, with specific maximum loading capacities for different fabric types: Cotton (8.0kg), Synthetic (4.0kg), Wool (2.0kg), and Delicate (2.5kg).
- Child Lock: This safety feature prevents accidental changes to the wash program. It is activated by pressing and holding the "Delay" and "Spin Speed" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The Child Lock icon will illuminate when active and deactivate automatically when the program ends or by pressing and holding the same buttons again.
- Delicate Washing: Specific instructions are provided for washing delicate items like wool and silk, including recommended load sizes (2kg or less for silk) and the use of mild liquid detergent. Users are advised to close zips and buttons and add items one by one to the drum without overloading.
- First Use Procedure: Before washing clothes for the first time, users are instructed to run a full wash program with a small amount of detergent to clean the machine.
- Removing Washing: After a program finishes, the door remains locked for 1 minute. Users should open the door, remove laundry, check for foreign objects, and leave the door and detergent drawer open to allow residual water to evaporate.
Maintenance Features

- General Cleaning: Always unplug the machine before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Drum: Any rust from metal articles should be removed immediately with chlorine-free detergent. Steel wool should not be used. Laundry should not be in the machine during drum cleaning.
- Cleaning the Exterior: The exterior should be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Water should not be splashed directly onto the machine, and cream cleansers, thinners, or alcohol/kerosene-containing products should be avoided.
- Cleaning the Detergent Drawer: The drawer can be removed by gently pulling and pressing the rear center part of the softener compartment. It should be washed with water to remove old detergent and prevent mold buildup. The siphon plug within the drawer should also be removed and cleaned thoroughly.
- Cleaning the Door Seal and Window: After each wash, the window and door seal should be wiped to remove lint and stains, which can cause leaks if they accumulate. Any coins, buttons, or other objects found in the door seal should be removed.
- Cleaning the Drain Filter: This is a crucial maintenance step. Users must switch off and unplug the machine. The service panel at the bottom front is opened using a flat-bladed screwdriver, and a container is placed underneath to catch water. The drain filter is then carefully loosened and unscrewed, cleaned of lint and debris, and screwed back into place. Caution is advised as water draining from the filter may be hot.
- Preventing a Frozen Water Supply Hose: If the machine is delivered in freezing conditions, it should be left at room temperature for 24 hours before use. If the hose freezes, 2-3 liters of warm water can be added to the drum, followed by running a "Drain Only" program.
- Cleaning the Filter Net of the Water Supply Hose: The water supply tap should be turned off, and the "Drain" program run. After powering off, the water supply hose is removed from the tap, and the filter net inside is manually removed and cleaned with a small brush before being re-inserted and the hose re-connected.
