How to fix a Kenwood MultiPro XL Weigh+ FDM72.990BK Food Processor that will not operate?

If your Kenwood Food Processor won't operate, first, ensure it's properly plugged into a power source. Then, check that the bowl is correctly fitted to the power unit, with the handle situated towards the right front hand corner. Also, make sure the bowl lid is securely locked into the handle area, as the processor will not work if the bowl and lid are incorrectly fitted. Finally, verify that the detachable drive shaft is fitted onto the power unit before fitting the bowl, as the tools and attachments will not operate without it.
