Lift the Brewer Handle to open.
Water will exit the Cold Water Reservoir
and enter the Brewer.
Select a K-Cup
®
portion pack.
Do not remove the foil lid or puncture
the K-Cup.
Skip Steps 9 and 10 for the initial
cleansing brew.

Place the selected K-Cup into the K-Cup
Holder Assembly.

CAUTION: There are two sharp needles that puncture the K-Cup, one above the K-Cup Holder and the other in the
bottom of the K-Cup Holder. To avoid risk of injury, do not put your fingers in the K-Cup Assembly Housing.
Ensure all of the water has left the Cold Water Reservoir and drained into the Brewer before proceeding to Step 11.
