26 Keysight FieldFox Handheld Analyzers Service Guide
General Product Information
FieldFox Options
2-
Option 312, Channel Scanner
Option 312 provides the functionality to measure and display channel power vs
frequency for up to 20 channels simultaneously.
Option 320, Reflection Measurements (Return Loss, VSWR, and Scalar
Measurement)
Measurement of VSWR and return loss can be made on active and passive
devices, cables, connectors and antennas. Option 220 is prerequisite.
Option 330, Pulse Measurements
Option 330 enables pulse measurements on FieldFox using Keysight's USB
peak power sensors. The pulse measurement mode can be used to
characterize RF pulses such as those used in radar and electronic warfare
systems.
Frequency of operation, dynamic range, minimum pulse width and other
performance specifications depend on the sensor.
Measurements include:
— Average power, peak power, and peak to average ratio
— Analog gauge display and digital display, dBm and watts
— Relative/absolute measurements, dB or %, minimum and maximum limits
— Trace graph for pulse profile viewing with gating
— Rise time, fall time, pulse width, pulse period, pulse repetition frequency
Option 355, AM/FM Metrics
Using FieldFox’s analog demodulation, users maintaining AM/FM radio
systems can demodulate and characterize AM and FM signals. They can tune
to the signal and listen to the audio tones using FieldFox’s built-in speakers or
a headphone. They can also display the RF spectrum, the demodulated
waveform and AM/FM metrics such as carrier power, modulation rate, and
SINAD.
AM/FM Metrics enables you to make the following measurements:
AM Measurements: — AM Measurements: Carrier power, AM rate, AM
modulation index
FM Measurements: — FM deviation (peak and RMS), Modulation Rate,
Carrier power, Demodulated voltage, SINAD, THD (total harmonic
distortion)
AM/FM Metrics can be enabled/disabled simultaneously with Tune and Listen.
