USER ACTION KIA BLUETOOTH® SYSTEM RESPONSE
1. At the Setup menu, say,
“delete phone”
Say name or number from the list, or say
delete all.”
2. Say the phone name to be
deleted
Note: You can also say the
number of the phone from
the list of paired phones and
it will delete the appropriate
phone.
Phone name” will be deleted. The associated
phonebook, index or phone lists for this phone
will also be deleted.* Say “yes” to proceed,
otherwise say back or cancel.

*Note: This action deletes the associated phonebook in the vehicle head unit only
and does not delete or aect the phone (handset) phonebook.

1. At the Setup menu say,
“change priority
Change priority. Say a phone name from the list.
(reads list)
2. Say a phone name to be
designated as the priority
phone
Note: You can also say the
number of the phone from
the list of paired phones and
it will delete the appropriate
phone.
Replies with the name of the new priority phone
and “say yes, back or cancel” to change priority
3. Say “yes” (to confirm
priority change)
Priority changed to (phone name)
*Note: The first phone paired is automatically designated the priority phone. The
vehicle automatically connects to the priority phone on every vehicle start, until the
priority designation is changed.

Bluetooth o
Bluetooth O. Say yes to proceed, otherwise say
back or cancel.”

* Kia’s Bluetooth® system is turned on again automatically whenever the
TALK button is pressed

1. At the Setup menu, say,
“select phone”
Say a phone name from the list.” (Reads list of
paired phones)
2. Say a phone name to be
selected (e.g., “Mary’s
Phone”)
Replies with the name of the selected phone
3. Say “yes” (to confirm
selection)*
*
Note: A phone remains selected only for the current key cycle. Once the vehicle
is turned o and on again, the system will automatically re-connect to the priority
phone.
