Engine Oil / Washer Fluid / Additional Info
Checking the engine oil
level [8]
1. Be sure the vehicle is on level
ground.
2. Start the engine and allow
it to reach normal operating
temperature.
3. Turn the engine off, remove
the oil ller cap and pull
the dipstick out. Wait for 15
minutes for the oil to return
to the oil pan.
4. Wipe the dipstick clean and
reinsert it fully.
5. Pull the dipstick out again
and check the level. Check
if the oil level is between the
F-L line, and if it is below
the L line, add enough oil to
bring the level to F line.
Relling engine oil [8]
Use a funnel to help prevent oil
from being spilled on engine
components.
Use only the specied engine
oil [9].
Checking the washer uid
level [8]
Check the uid level in the
washer uid reservoir and add
uid if necessary. Plain water
may be used if washer uid is
not available.
However, use washer solvent
with antifreeze characteristics
in cold climates to prevent
freezing.
Idle Stop & Go (ISG)
When enabled, ISG
automatically stops the
car’s engine to reduce fuel
consumption and emissions.
The ISG function may not
work if the car’s battery
charge status, ambient
temperature and/or engine
temperature is too low. Air
conditioning/heater control
settings may also affect ISG
function.
Parking brake (handbrake)
When engaging the parking
brake, apply the footbrake
rst and keep it depressed.
Then apply the parking
brake.
We strongly recommend
to leave the car in rst
or reverse gear or in the
‘P’ (Park) position on
automatics when leaving
the car.
