Driving your vehicle Driver Attention Warning (DAW)

Driver Attention Warning.
Driver Attention Warning utilizes the
camera sensor on the front
windscreen for its operation. To
keep the camera sensor in the best
condition, you should observe the
followings:
䳜 NEVER install any accessories or
stickers on the front windscreen,
nor tint the front windscreen.
䳜 NEVER locate any reflective
objects (i.e. white paper, mirror)
over the dashboard. Any light
reflection may cause a malfunc
-
tion of Driver Attention Warning.
䳜 Pay extreme caution to keep the
camera sensor out of water.
䳜 NEVER arbitrarily disassemble the
camera assembly, nor apply any
impact on front view camera
assembly.
Driver Attention Warning may not
properly operate with limited alert

ing in the following situations:
䳜 Driver Attention Warning may not

tions:
䳜 The vehicle is violently driven or is
abruptly turned for obstacle
avoidance (e.g. construction area,
other vehicles, fallen objects,
bumpy road).
䳜 Forward drivability of the vehicle
is severely undermined (possibly
due to wide variation in tyre pres
-
sures, uneven tyre wear-out, toe-
in/toe-out alignment).
䳜 The vehicle drives on a curvy road.
䳜 The vehicle drives on a bumpy
road.
䳜 The vehicle drives through a
windy area.
Playing the vehicle audio system at
high volume may offset Driver
Attention Warning warning sounds.
Leading Vehicle Departure Alert
This reminds the driver the leading
vehicle䳓s driving departure after
stopping.
Function setting
With the vehicle ON, Leading Vehicle
Departure Alert function turns on
and gets ready to be activated when
the selecting 䳖User Settings →
Driver Assistance → Driver Atten
-
tion Warning → Leading Vehicle
Departure Alertä³—. The function stops
operation when the setting is deac
