Have an Authorized Kidde Fire Systems Natura IGS Systems Distributor, perform periodic
preventative maintenance per Table 2-2.
Table 2-2. Authorized Kidde Fire Systems Distributor Preventive Maintenance Schedule
Schedule Requirement
Semi-Annual Perform Monthly inspection and the following additional tasks:
Check lockout valves
Check actuators on selector valves
Check distribution pipework and nozzles
Inspect the protected room
Test pressure switches
Test release units
Test Nitrogen Pilot Control Heads (if applicable)
Inspect Flexible Hoses
Verify Odorizer Assembly
Annual Perform Semi-Annual inspection and the following additional tasks:
Check Natura IGS System Cylinder Pressure Gauges
Every 2 Years Perform Annual inspection and the following additional tasks:
Blow out distribution piping
Every 5 Years (CFR) Perform 2 year Inspection and the following additional tasks:
Agent cylinder hydrostatic pressure test and/or inspection
Nitrogen pilot cylinder hydrostatic pressure test and/or inspection
Flexible hose hydrostatic pressure test and inspection
Every 10 Years (EU) Perform 2 year Inspection and the following additional tasks:
Agent cylinder hydrostatic pressure test
Nitrogen pilot cylinder hydrostatic pressure test
