Dear Customer, Thankyou for choosing a KiddyGuard Avant™ from Lascal. We hope you
will be delighted with your purchase and will enjoy the protection it gives small children.

KiddyGuard Avant is a safety gate designed for children up to 24 months of age.
KiddyGuard Avant protects door or stair openings which are between 0 -130cm (0 - 51
inches) wide.

Read these instructions carefully before use and keep for future reference.
Your child may be hurt if you do not follow the instructions.
Incorrect installation or positioning of this safety gate can be dangerous.
Never use the KiddyGuard Avant if any component is damaged or missing.
The KiddyGuard Avant should not be subject to mechanical damage e.g. hitting it with sharp,
hard objects or scratching from pets claws as this will cause damage.
When fitted in place, check the barrier to ensure that it is properly fixed and secure.
After closing the KiddyGuard Avant, always make sure the the locking mechanism is securely
engaged.
The KiddyGuard Avant general condition and safety mechanism should be checked periodically
for general condition, with particular reference to the security of attachments and operation of
the locking device.
Do not allow adults, children or pets to climb over or under the safety barrier, it may damage
the gate and cause injury.
This product complies with European Standard EN 1930:2000 and US Safety Standard
ASTM F1004-00 which do not address products designed for use across window openings.
Stop using the barrier if the child is capable of climbing over it.
Additional and replacement parts should only be obtained from the manufacturer or distributor.
