3. Use a stiff wire brush to remove carbon deposits from the spark arrester screen.
Inspect the screen for holes, and replace it if necessary.
4. Check the muffler gasket; replace if damaged. Reinstall the muffler gasket, the spark arrester,
the muffler and the muffler protector in the reverse order of removal.
