Remove the top funnel and channel, then clean inside and outside with mild soapy water or alcohol.
Wipe excess pill dust from the four glass detector windows using a dry cloth.
Clean the inside of glass windows with a damp cloth and soapy water or alcohol, wiping back-and-forth.
Dry the glass windows with a clean cloth to remove any remaining streaks.
Use eyeglasses cleaner, not alcohol, for clear window assemblies. Contact service if needed.
Remove, clean the clear plastic tray cover with a damp cloth, dry, and replace.
Turn the tray over and clean the silver sensor strip with a water-dampened cloth.
Access and clean the tray sensor on the unit's bottom with a damp cloth.
Unscrew and thoroughly clean the interior of the black lower funnel with soapy water or alcohol.
Clean the silver exit gate with mild soapy water or alcohol and dry it thoroughly.
Address error codes (E-2, E-4, etc.) and overcounts by cleaning detector windows or checking for fragments.
Resolve undercounts by adjusting pour speed or addressing tray sensor and strip issues.
Remove, clean with water, and reattach the exit front to clear guide tracks.
For older units with power loss, replace the fuse with a 250v/300 milliamp slo-blow type.
