1. RechargeonlywiththechargerspeciedbyKitchenAid.Usewithothertypesofchargers
maycreateariskofre.
2. Donotstorebatteryinthecharger.Nobatterydamagewilloccur,however,ifthecharger
andbatteryareleftpluggedin.Storingthebatteryinanunpluggedchargerwilldrainthe
batteryovertime.
3. Thisbatteryisnotintendedforusebypersons(includingchildren)withreducedphysical
sensoryormentalcapabilities,orlackofexperienceandknowledge,unlesstheyhavebeen
givensupervisionorinstructionconcerninguseofthebatterybyapersonresponsible
fortheirsafety.
4. Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplaywiththebattery.
5. Use12VLi-ionbatteryonlywithspecicallydesignatedKitchenAidappliances.Use
inanyotherdevicemaycreateariskofinjuryandre.
6. Whenbatteryisnotinuse,keepitawayfromothermetalobjectslikepaperclips,
coins,keys,nails,screws,orothersmallmetalobjectsthatcanmakeaconnectionfrom
oneterminaltoanother.Shortingthebatteryterminalstogethermaycauseburnsorare.
7. Donotdrop,crush,ordamagethebattery.Liquidmaybeejectedfromthebatteryunder
thesetypesofabusivesituations;avoidcontact.Ifcontactaccidentallyoccurs,ushwith
water.Ifliquidcontactseyes,additionallyseekmedicalhelp.Liquidejectedfromthebattery
maycauseirritationorburns.
8. Donotsubmergeorexposebatterytowater.Tocleanthebatteryexteriorhousing,use
adampcloth,takingcarenottocontactthemetalterminals.Shortingthebatteryterminals
togethermaycauseburnsorare.
9. Storeyourbatteryinacool,dryplace.Donotstorebatterywheretemperatures
mayexceed50°C.
