Using Your Pouring Shield
To Attach:
1. Turn speed control to OFF.
2. Unplug Stand Mixer or disconnect
power.
3. Attach bowl and flat beater, dough
hook or wire whip to the mixer.
Lower and lock the motor head.
4. From the front of the mixer, slide
the Pouring Shield over the bowl
until the shield is centered. The
bottom rim of the shield should fit
inside the bowl.
To Use:
1. For best results, rotate the shield
so that the motor head covers the
u-shaped gap in the shield. This
will position the pouring chute just
to the right of the attachment hub
as you face the mixer.
2. Pour ingredients into the bowl
through the pouring chute.
To Scrape Bowl:
Note: Do not scrape bowl while the
mixer is running.
Turn mixer off. Slide the Pouring
Shield off the bowl, lift the mixer
head, and scrape.
To Clean:
Wash the Pouring Shield in warm,
soapy water or place it in the top rack
of your dishwasher.

Puerto Rico. During the warranty
period, all service must be handled by
an Authorized KitchenAid Service

to the nearest Authorized Service
