Connection to the gas cylinder
IMPORTANT: The appliance is already adjusted for operation with LPG. Just connect to the rubber pipe
Max length 1.5m in line with the local standard with gaskets and clips supplied which will be supplier by
the gas cylinder supplied when purchasing the gas cylinder itself, following the procedure described below.
Be sure that the gas pressure does not exceed value indicated by local regulation.
IMPORTANT: Utilize pressure regulator comply with gas pressure value indicated in this book with the
local code. Pressure regulator is not provided with the product.
1) Unscrew the 2 screws A and remove the rear barbecue panel 4.
2) Connect nut 3 of the gas pipe to the threaded connection 5 on the cylinder.
3) Connect nut 2, on the other end of the gas pipe, to the threaded connection 1 of the barbecue. If the
cylinder is housed in the trolley pass the gas pipe though the hole 6 (pre-cut) then connect as described
in points 1 to 3.
4) When the operations are completed reassemble the rear panel tightening up the 2 screws A.
IMPORTANT: The rubber pipe must not be in contact with a hot surface.
5) Turn on the gas supply. Wait a few minutes for gas to move through the gas pipe.
6) Test all connections by brushing on an approved noncorrosive leak-detection solution. Bubbles will
show a leak. Correct any leak found.
7) Slide tank tray back into the cabinet and lock into place.
The flexible tube has to be changed according to national regulations.
IMPORTANT: Do not obstruct the gas cylinder compartment air vents, always close the supply valve of
the gas cylinder after use.
At the end of the connection make sure that the rubber pipe is not squashed or suspended or prevents
the cover opening for methane operation see the nearest authorized customer care center.
For assembly or replacement of the rubber pipe refer to the regulations in force. The date of expiry is
printed on the pipe, replace it in due time.
If the cylinder does not have a closing valve, an on-off tap should be fitted. The tap must be easily
accessible.
Inspect the gas cylinder supply hose before each use of the grill. If the hose shows excessive abrasion or
wear or is cut, it must be replaced before using the grill.
Always check connections for leaks each time you connect or disconnect the LPG gas supply cylinder.
