Before you start...
Proper installation is your
responsibility. Make sure you
have everything necessary for
correct installation. It is the
personal responsibility and
obligation of the customer to
contact a qualified installer to assure
that electrical and plumbing
installation meet national and local
codes and ordinances•
Check location where dishwasher
will be installed• The location should
provide:
Easy access to water, electricity
and drainage.
Convenient loading -- the best
position is left or right of kitchen
sink.
Opening that is square for proper
dishwasher operation and
appearance•
Cabinet front that is perpendicular
to floor.
Protection against freezing to
prevent the water inlet valve,
water lines to dishwasher, water
lines in dishwasher, and drain from
rupturing. (Ruptures from freezing
are not covered by the warranty.)
1/4" minimum clearance between
motor and flooring to prevent
motor overheating.

Installation Steps

Rough In Water and Drain Lines

Prepare water and drain lines by cutting a 1" hole in the cabinet.

Install Shutoff Valve

Install a water shutoff valve in an easily accessible location.

Flush Water Line

Flush the water line to remove particles before connecting.

Check Water Line

Ensure the water line has no sharp bends or kinks.

Install Air Gap and Drain Hose

Install air gap and attach drain hose to air gap or waste tee.

Cut Cabinet Hole for Wiring

Cut a 1" hole in the cabinet for electrical wiring, using a grommet if metal.

Adjust Leveling Legs

Adjust leveling legs to fit the 34" cabinet opening height.

Align Door and Secure Dishwasher

Align door with cabinet and secure dishwasher to countertop or floor.

Connect Water Supply

Connect water supply line to the dishwasher valve using appropriate fittings.

Connect Drain Hose

Connect the drain hose to the dishwasher valve and ensure no kinks.

Secure Dishwasher to Countertop

Attach dishwasher to countertop using brackets to prevent tilting.

Level and Check Door Operation

Level the interior and check door operation; adjust spring brackets if needed.

Final Checks and Cycle Start

Verify all parts installed, turn on supplies, and start a cycle.
