SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read these operating instructions carefully to avoid hazards from physical
damage, re, electric shock, injury, and property damage. Be sure to observe
the following safety precautions. Failure to follow the safety instructions and
improper use of the device can lead to accidents.
• Ensure that you only connect the device to sockets with the appropriate
voltage.
• To avoid re and injury, do not use inferior mains outlets in series.
• To avoid injury, do not move the device and do not touch the moving parts
when the device is in operation.
• Do not hang the power cord on sharp objects or attach it to moving objects.
Do not use this device on sloping, uneven or unstable surfaces.
• To avoid damage to the device or re and injury, do not place the device near
stoves.
• Do not allow children to use the device without supervision. Make sure that
children do not play with the device. Keep the device out of the reach of small
children.
• Children from the age of 8 and physically, sensory and mentally impaired
persons may only use the device if they have been familiarised by a
responsible person with its functions and understand the safety precautions
in place as well as any associated risks.
• If the plug or other parts of the device are damaged, you must stop using the
device. To replace or repair the device, contact the manufacturer or customer
service, or have the device repaired by a quali ed specialist.
• Make sure that the device is switched o before you disassemble or operate
any part of the device.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or a similarly quali ed person to avoid a hazard.
• Only use the original accessories recommended by the manufacturer of this
device to ensure proper functioning of the device.
• Do not leave the device unattended during operation. Use care when
removing the cutting blade, emptying the mixing cup and cleaning.
• The blender jar may only be used on the stand provided.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
