Overview

The Knoll Tone Electric and Extended Electric table is a height-adjustable desk system designed for ergonomic workspaces. It features a robust frame that supports various work surface configurations, including 2-column, 3-column 90°, and 3-column 120° tables. The system is powered by an electric motor, allowing users to easily adjust the table height for sitting or standing positions.

Function Description:

The primary function of the Knoll Tone Electric table is to provide a flexible and ergonomic work surface. The electric motor enables smooth and quiet height adjustments, promoting dynamic posture changes throughout the workday. The system can be configured with different numbers of columns and crossbar arrangements to accommodate various desk shapes and sizes. Handsets, available with or without a display, provide intuitive control over the table's height. The system also incorporates safety features such as collision detection, which stops and backs off the table if an obstruction is encountered during movement. Homing cycles ensure the table maintains its lowest possible position and proper synchronization of columns.

  • Do not sit on the table base during assembly or on the table itself when performing the homing process.
  • Some troubleshooting actions, such as replacing parts, should only be performed by a service technician. End-users should not attempt these repairs.
