Why won't my Kobalt KSB 5080-06 Snow Blower start?

  There are several reasons why your Kobalt Snow Blower might not start. It could be due to a discharged battery, so charge it following the instructions in the battery and charger manual. The battery might be too cold; in this case, remove it and the charger and bring them inside to warm up for 15 minutes, then try again. Another possibility is that the battery isn't correctly seated; remove it, check the compartment for any obstructions, and then reinsert the battery until it clicks into place. The switch could also be defective, requiring replacement by an authorized service center. Finally, the battery may need to be serviced or replaced; you can call customer service at 1-888-356-2258 or replace it.

  If the handle of your Kobalt Snow Blower is not in position, it might be because the bolts are not properly seated. Make sure the bolts are correctly installed through the handle bars and that the hand knobs are tight. Refer to the Assembling the Handles section in this manual.
