Leave at least 30 cm free space all around the device
(back,front & sides) and at least 40cm above the air
puriier.
This air puriier is not a substitute for proper ventila-
tion, regular vacuum cleaning, or use of an extractor
hood or fan while cooking.
If the power socket used to power the air puriier has
poor connections, the plug of the air puriier becomes
hot. Make sure that you plug the air puriier into a
properly connected power socket.
Always place and use the air puriier on a dry, stable,
level, and horizontal surface.
Do not place anything on top of the air puriier.
Do not sit or stand on the air puriier. Sitting or stand-
ing on the appliance may lead to potential injury.
Make sure the reusable ilter, front cover and back cov-
er are properly installed before you switch on the air
puriier.
Only use the original reusable ilter specially intended
for this KODAK Smart Air Puriier. Do not use any other
ilters or add any extra ilters in the device.
Avoid knocking against the air puriier (the air inlet and
outlet in particular) with hard objects.
Always lift or move the air puriier by the handle on top
of the device.
Do not insert your ingers or objects into the air outlet
or the air inlet to prevent physical injury or malfunc-
tioning of the air puriier.
Do not use this air puriier when you have used indoor
smoke-type insect repellents or in places with oily resi-
dues, burning incense, or chemical fumes.
Do not use the air puriier near gas appliances, heating
devices or ireplaces.
Always unplug the air puriier after use and before
cleaning or carrying out other maintenance.
Do not use the air puriier in a room with major tem-
perature changes, as this may cause condensation
inside the air puriier.
To prevent interference, place the air puriier at least
2 meters away from other electrical appliances that
use airborne radio waves such as TVs, radios, and ra-
dio-controlled clocks.
