2. Remove the hex ange screw and pull the injector
out of the intake manifold for each injector. See
Figure 8-48.

Remove the Manifold Absolute Pressure
(MAP) Sensor
1. With a screwdriver, slide the locking tab on the
electrical connector. See Figure 8-45.

Remove Fuel Injectors
1. Disconnect the electrical connector. See Figure 8-47.

2. Detach the connector.
3. Remove the hex ange screw and pull the MAP
sensor out of the intake manifold. See Figure 8-46.

3. When removed, pull the metal retaining clip
connecting the fuel injector to the fuel injector
cap. See Figure 8-49. There may be some fuel le
in the line. Any spilled fuel must be cleaned up
immediately.
