Care and Cleaning
Clean the outside surfaces of your vitreous china xture with mild soap
and warm water. Wipe the entire surface completely dry with a clean, so
cloth. Many cleaners contain harsh chemicals, such as ammonia, which
can damage the nish. Do not use those cleaners.
If the surface of your vitreous china xture becomes excessively dirty, you
use a general purpose cleaner.
If you live in a hard water area, make certain all the xture rim holes are
kept clean to ensure proper operation.
Use a toilet bowl cleaner at least once a week. Use a long-handled brush
to clean the xture rim holes. Also use the long-handled brush to clean
as far into the trap of your toilet as possible to prevent mineral deposits
from forming.
Most toilet bowl cleaners are not harmful to the surface of your vitreous
china xture. Please follow the bowl cleaner manufacturers instructions
carefully.
Do not use abrasive cleansers or solvents on vitreous china.
Kohler Co. and Kohler Ltd. shall not be responsible or liable for any tank
ing damage caused by the use of cleaners containing chlorine (calcium
hypochlorite).
WARNING: Risk of property or product damage. Do not use
in-tank cleaners in your toilet. Products containing chlorine
(calcium hypochlorite) can seriously damage ings in the tank. This
damage can cause leakage and property damage.
