Troubleshooting
This troubleshooting guide is for general aid only.
See the label on the inside of the toilet lid for service parts. Refer to the
illustration on the last page for parts identication.
• Adjust tank water level to match waterline.
• Fully open water supply shut-o valve.
• Clear obstruction in trapway, jet, or bowl rim holes.
• Clear obstruction in soil pipe or vent pipe.
• Reconnect ush ball chain to trip lever or ush valve.
• Adjust ush ball chain assembly to remove excessive slack.
• Adjust ush ball chain for proper slack so ush ball isn’t held
o ush valve seat.
• Clean or replace ush ball if ush ball is worn, dirty, or
misaligned with flush valve seat or flush valve seat is
damaged Replace ush valve seal or ush valve.
• Remove tank and tighten ush valve nut if ush valve
gasket is leaking. Do not overtighten. If leakage continues,
replace gasket.
• Clean ll valve seat / seat washer of debris, or replace piston/
seat washer assembly.
• Replace ll valve if valve oat sinks.
• Adjust tank water level if too high.
• Fully open water supply shut-o valve.
• Clean ll valve inlet, valve head, or supply line. Flush lines.
• Partially close water supply shut-o valve if water pressure
to toilet is too high. Check toilet performance following any
such adjustment.
• Remove dirt or obstruction in valve head. Flush lines.
• Adjust ush ball chain assembly to remove excessive slack.
• Adjust trip arm bracket and ange so they are parallel with
tank top.
