Summary

1. Remove the Flange

Remove the stopper and toggle

Remove the stopper and toggle by lifting it, wiggling if stuck.

Remove the drain flange

Remove the drain flange by twisting it counterclockwise using the lugs.

2. Prepare the Area

Clean drain opening and threads

Clean the drain opening surface and threads in the drain ell thoroughly.

Remove stopper assembly from flange

Remove the stopper assembly from the flange by turning it counterclockwise.

Dry fit replacement flange

Dry fit the replacement flange by threading it into the drain ell.

3. Install the Drain

Flange Fit and Sealant Application

Apply Putty and Install Components

Perform Water Leak Tests

4. Remove the Current Handle

Remove handle screw and handle

Remove faceplate screws

Remove faceplate and linkage

5. Install the Cover

Install overflow mounting plate

Position overflow cover

Tighten setscrew

Final water leak test
