AIR CLEANER
Magnum engines are equipped with a high-density
paper air cleaner element. Some specifications are
also equipped with an oiled foam ргесіеапег which
surrounds the paper element. Refer to Figure 5-1.

Three types of air cleaner assemblies are used on
Model M18 and M20 engines; square, dome, or anti-
icing. Refer to the instructions for the specific type of
air cleaner being serviced.

Disassembly
1. Remove the wing nuts and air cleaner cover.
2. Remove the element cover seals, element cover,
paper element and precleaner.
3. Remove the breather hose, base screw, air clean-
er base, air intake tube, and gasket.
