Crankshaft
4. Apply a thin layer of grease to the crankshaft before
installing the pump
.
5. Inspect the key and keyway on crankshaft (see
Figure 55).

6. Slide the pump onto the crankshaft making sure the
k
ey lines up with the keyway in the pump.
7. Install the pump/engine mounting bolts and tighten
to 25 ft-lb (34 N·m).
Remove and Install the Pump – WP3000
1. Disconnect high-pressure hose and soap siphon
hose from pump.
2. Remove the 4 mounting bolts and washers holding
the pump to the engine (see Figure 56).
3. Slide the pump out off of the crankshaft (see Figure
56).

4. Inspect the key and keyway on crankshaft (see
Figure 57).
5. Apply a thin layer of grease to the crankshaft before
installing the pump.

6. Slide the pump onto the crankshaft making sure the
key lines up with the keyway in the pump.
7. Install the pump/engine mounting bolts and tighten
to 30 ft-lb (41 N·m).
