- MMA (Manual Metal Arc) Welding: For stick electrode welding.
- Gouging: For arc air gouging applications.
The machines feature a modular design, allowing for easy system expansion and high flexibility. They are equipped with a wirefeeder (MX4), a power source (MX350/MX270), and a cooling unit (WX). The control panel provides intuitive access to various parameters, including material thickness, wire feed speed, welding current, voltage, program memory, pulse/arc-force dynamic correction, job selection, hold indicator, trigger operating mode selection (2T, 4T, S2T, S4T), material type selection, wire diameter selection, shielding gas selection, and process selection (Synergic, Pulse, Duo Pulse).
Specialized welding processes like XDeep, XRoot, XCold, XStabil, Position, and Duo Pulse are integrated to enhance welding quality and performance in various scenarios. XDeep offers deep weld penetration, XRoot provides perfect root welding for pipes, XCold eliminates high heat input, and XStabil ensures uniform welding quality. Position and Duo Pulse features offer safe application in difficult welding positions and full control of welding quality, respectively.

Usage Features
Setup and Commissioning:
- Power Connection: Requires a mains cable suitable for the connection voltage. Strain-relief devices are necessary for cable cross-sections. Input connectors (L1, L2, L3) and earth ground (Yellow and Green) must be correctly wired.
- Generator-Powered Operation: The power source is generator-compatible. The maximum apparent power (S1max) of the power source must be known to select the correct generator output. The generator apparent power (SGEN) should be calculated using the formula SGEN = S1max x 1.35. The voltage delivered by the generator must not fall outside the mains voltage tolerance range.
- Assembling System Components: Includes wire feeding unit, wire feeding support panel, power source, gas cylinder holder and support, water cooling unit, and trolley.
- Connecting Interconnecting Hosepack: All connections must be properly secured and undamaged. Gas-cooled systems are not fitted with a cooling unit.
- Correct Routing of Interconnecting Hosepack: Follow duty cycle values (D.C.) for correct routing.
- Establishing Earth Connection: Keep positive cables and grounding cables together, avoid parallel routing, and ensure proper cross-section. Avoid ferromagnetic materials and wind long grounding cables in loops.
- Connecting Gas Cylinder: Place on a solid, level surface, secure against falling, open valve briefly to remove dirt, inspect seal, connect pressure regulator, and tighten. An adapter is supplied for US devices.
- Brake Cylinder and Wire Feeding Reel: Assemble the brake cylinder components and wire feed roller according to the provided images.
- Feed Rollers Placement/Changing: Exercise caution when changing feed rollers to avoid injury. Install the drive motor protective cover and change wirefeeder rollers as needed.
Operation:
- MIG/MAG Welding: Connect water hoses, insert mains plug, set power switch to ON. The cooling unit will illuminate. Select material, wire diameter, shielding gas, and process via the control panel. Adjust parameters using the selection knob.
