12. Perform a start-up procedure on the complete
system to insure maximum performance during
service. Refer to the truck's Vehicle Test
Instructions for the complete test procedure.
For The First Hour
After all storage protection has been removed, the
truck has been cleaned and inspected and repairs
made as necessary, the Motorized Wheel gear case
has been filled with new oil, the dirt seals have been
completely purged with new grease and the system
completely checked, the truck can be placed into ser-
vice. It is recommended, however, that the truck be
driven unloaded at a low speed (10 mph) for the first
hour of operation.
