  If your Konig DJ Equipment fixtures reset correctly but some respond erratically or not at all to the controller, there might be a bad data link connection. Inspect the connections and cables, correct any poor connections, and repair or replace damaged cables. Also, ensure the data link is terminated with a 120 Ohm termination plug inserted in the output of the last fixture on the link. Check the DMX addresses to make sure they are correct. Verify that none of the fixtures are transmitting as a master by checking all fixture settings. As a last resort, one of the fixtures may be defective. Bypass one fixture at a time (unplug both DMX connectors and connect them directly together) until normal operation is regained. The defective fixture has to be serviced by a technician.

If it is, the issue might be due to an XLR pin-out mismatch between the controller and the first fixture on the link, where the polarity is reversed. To correct this, install a phase-reversing cable between the controller and the first fixture on the link.
