1. InserttheincludedlithiumbatteryCR2450,thenclosethecover.
2. DownloadandopentheKoogeekHomeappfromtheAppStore.
3. LoginorsignupforaKoogeekaccountorsimplytapSkip.
4. OpentheBluetoothon
youriOS9.0orabovedevice.Searchfor“Koogeek‐DW1‐XXXXXX”andpair.
XXXXXXarethelast6charactersofMAConyourDoor&WindowSensor.
5. Tap“+”onthetoprightcornerandfollowtheon‐screendirectionstocompletenetworksetup.
Note:Toaddmoredoor&
windowsensors(orrepeattheDoor&WindowSensorsetupprocess),
tap “+” and you will see the accessory list. Each accessory has an identification code, e.g.
Koogeek‐DW1‐XXXXXX.Makesurethe last6 charactersof the identification code are consistent
withthelast6charactersofMACon
thebackofyourDoor&WindowSensor.Iftheaccessorylist
hasn’t been showed, please insert the metal pin into the pinhole of the sensor and hold for 10
secondstorestorethedevicetofactorysettings.
6. Whenprompted,scanthesetupcodeormanuallyenterthesetupcode,
andthenfollowthestep
toaddthedevicetotheHomeandRoom.Pleasekeepthesetupcodeforfutureuse.
7. Youcanassignanametoyourdevice.Forexample,youcannameyourdevice“DoorSensor”.
8. SetupcustomizedscenestocontrolotherHomeKit‐enabled
accessorieswhenyouopenorclose
a door or window. For example, you can set the “Bedroom”scene of turning on your bedroom
lightwhenyourbedroomdoorisopened.

Download and open the Koogeek Home app from the App Store.

Log In or Sign Up

Log in or sign up for a Koogeek account or simply tap Skip.

Enable Bluetooth and Pair

Open Bluetooth, search for "Koogeek-DW1-XXXXXX" and pair.

Complete Network Setup

Tap "+", select accessory, and follow on-screen directions for network setup.

Enter Setup Code

Scan or manually enter the setup code, and add the device to Home and Room.

Assign Device Name

Assign a custom name to your device, e.g., "Door Sensor".

Set Up Customized Scenes

Create scenes to control other HomeKit accessories when door/window opens/closes.
