iS40/iS50 Operating System
Release 3.0 (970956)
Introduction
The KORG iS40 and iS50 Workstations can be constantly
improved and updated with new functions. The new version of
the operating system may already be included in your instru-
ment. If not, you can load it from a 2DD (double density) or 2HD
(high density) disk.
To check the version of the operating system contained in your
instrument turn on the instrument while holding the DISK/GLO-
BAL button pressed. The display shows the version number of
the operating system (6-digit number). Check that the number
corresponds with the current version (970956) or with a previous
one.
If your instrument includes an older version, you can contact
your dealer to request the disks of the new version, or download
it from the Internet site www
.korg.it.
Once you have downloaded the operating system follow the
instructions contained in the “Loading the operating system”
section to prepare the iS40/iS50 system disks and load the sys-
tem into the instrument.
